JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an brand-new movie. Rather, the latest film from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise is a compilation of the show's sophomore season combined with the first two episodes of its next season, which begins the Culling Games storyline from the original manga. This positions Execution, which recently received a new trailer, the quickest way to view the start of the upcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The movie premieres in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North American regions on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Games storyline, Elite sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu is introduced in the show and is charged by sorcery authorities to execute his peer Yuji Itadori. "Thunderclap episodes" from the second season is frequently praised as a top-tier scene in animated series lore, despite all the controversy in the previous year when the episodes first debuted.
